Industrial designer graduated from the Universidad Cardenal Herrera-CEU in Valencia (End of Degree Award 2004), certified facilitator of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology and trainer in creative thinking applied to business.
For more than 15 years, I have worked professionally in various design, communication, and product development teams. I have participated in the design of different trade fair stands, retail spaces, and shop windows. In addition, I have created toys, furniture, signage, communication supports, exhibitions, and a wide variety of objects.
I do not consider myself a designer who only works in front of the computer, with lightbulbs popping out of my head and throwing ideas nonstop. I don’t spend my time at my desk endlessly drawing, modeling, and calculating without looking up from the screen.
The creation of a product also happens outside the computer and paper. Good design involves meetings with clients to understand what they really need and how we can help them. It includes conversations with the operations department to adjust budgets and project milestones, as well as with the raw materials team to determine what we have in stock that best fits the product. It even involves interacting with the customer service team to identify areas for product improvement while projects are being developed.
Product development is a team effort, not just the designer’s. I am part of a great team: the best product development team for acoustic solutions.
